"The ballsiest monster around"

Films: Phantasm (1979), Phantasm 2 (1988), Phantasm 3: Lord of the Dead (1994), Phantasm 4: Oblivion (1998), Phantasm 5: Ravager (2016)

Alias: Jebediah Morningside

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted home/Civilized area/Eldritch location

Height/Weight: Slightly larger than an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: He was human...once. Now, we don't even know what he is. Whatever he is, he might be the one being that could unite almost all other monsters in their shared fear of this tall man's power.

History: Jebediah Morningside was once a mortician who fantasized about the connection between the realms of the living and the dead. In time, he created a great dimension-hopping machine to test his theories. But he came back a changed man after entering the portal for the first time. Now he was the Tall Man, an eldritch being of great power and will over the dead. His minions were those he killed and mutated into dwarf "lurkers", and his arsenal a bunch of silver spheres with brains and weapons in them. Needless to say, the multiverse beware.

Notable Kills: Emerging from one's spine as a worm with your face. That can't not break someone's mind for life.

Final Fate: The Tall Man has made more enemies than friends, and is constantly beaten up by those who stand against his tyranny. But he always comes back...at least he did. With all main characters of all films teamed up, it seems that getting blown up by a rogue lurker may have disposed of him for good, and now the sphere army remains headless.

Powers/Abilities: Infinite, with shapeshifting and enslavement being his strongsuits.

Weakness: None, though the cold and bright lights bother him a lot.

Scariness Factor: 5-Countless universes and alternate realities have fallen to this one being, and for good reason. His army of advanced spherical death machines and loyal undead prove to be quite useful, and the man himself is quite intimidating. Then again, he was a mortician, so what do you really expect?

Trivia: -The Tall Man has always been portrayed by Angus Scrimm, right up until his death in 2016. For honor's sake, we say that the character died with him.

-According to Scrimm, the Tall Man is the physical representation of the childhood fear of death, with how indestructible and overbearing it can be.

Nani?!

Your heart would have stopped cold if this was the first thing you saw after a hangover.

And he's certainly ON the ball.

"Two types of people exist around me. The dying...and the dead."

Drill THIS into your heads. A ton of inept sequels a grand franchise does not make.

Do you feel your boners getting killed? That's normal.

Yes. Our expectations were indeed ravaged.
Don't even bother closing your eyes. He'll make you watch every one of his sequels whether you like it or not.

Nyarlathotep would be proud.

Strangely fitting, this image of the balls.

The Tall Man's chosen company: They're awful.

Turns out, these balls all came from some demented comedy act.

"Oh, come now. It's not like I cause untold devastation wherever I go."

"Pardon me, but is there something in my eye?"

The Great Old Ones called. They want their feeling of dread and mystique back.

Suffice to say, nobody is having a good time here.

The same thing happened at the Christmas party with the apple dunk challenge.

I've been scared by the man in the mirror...

Stop trying to peer into his 'Master Cheif X Self Insert" fanfiction.

There goes subtlty. And pretty much everyone in the building.

Welcome to the nature of chaos itself.

"BOOOOOYOO! Wait. Wrong line."

We already have a scene where a freak bursts out of a woman's spine. No need to push the body horror.

"Get used to this bufoonery. I'm basically immortal."

Aha. Ahaaaaaa. I see what you did there.

"Alright. Soul where I can see it."

It was at this moment the Tall Man knew...everyone involved with the final film fragged up.
