Summary: He was human...once. Now, we don't even know what he is. Whatever he is, he might be the one being that could unite almost all other monsters in their shared fear of this tall man's power.

History: Jebediah Morningside was once a mortician who fantasized about the connection between the realms of the living and the dead. In time, he created a great dimension-hopping machine to test his theories. But he came back a changed man after entering the portal for the first time. Now he was the Tall Man, an eldritch being of great power and will over the dead. His minions were those he killed and mutated into dwarf "lurkers", and his arsenal a bunch of silver spheres with brains and weapons in them. Needless to say, the multiverse beware.

Notable Kills: Emerging from one's spine as a worm with your face. That can't not break someone's mind for life.

Final Fate: The Tall Man has made more enemies than friends, and is constantly beaten up by those who stand against his tyranny. But he always comes back...at least he did. With all main characters of all films teamed up, it seems that getting blown up by a rogue lurker may have disposed of him for good, and now the sphere army remains headless.

Powers/Abilities: Infinite, with shapeshifting and enslavement being his strongsuits.

Weakness: None, though the cold and bright lights bother him a lot.

Scariness Factor: 5-Countless universes and alternate realities have fallen to this one being, and for good reason. His army of advanced spherical death machines and loyal undead prove to be quite useful, and the man himself is quite intimidating. Then again, he was a mortician, so what do you really expect?

Trivia: -The Tall Man has always been portrayed by Angus Scrimm, right up until his death in 2016. For honor's sake, we say that the character died with him.

-According to Scrimm, the Tall Man is the physical representation of the childhood fear of death, with how indestructible and overbearing it can be.
